Hi Alan (or anyone else who can answer my question),
I am wanting to create a bold version of one of my existing fonts. I have read the other couple threads on that topic here, but still can't figure out how to do it, and those threads were a few years old, so I'm not sure if there have been changes made.

You need to change: - font name (menu: font/rename font) change subfamily from Regular to Bold, and add the word "Bold" after the fullname - font description: (menu: font/description) change weight to Bold, and tick the Bold checkbox
The operating system will now recognize this as a bold font, but you still need to alter the shape of all your glyphs so they are actually 'bold'. You can use the stroke tool, or a stroke action script as a good starting point to help you do this.
