There is no simple way to change the glyph order*.
The glyphs are in the order that they are created - which is entirely up to the designer.
Often the glyphs are created in unicode or ascii order (I have never seen it done in PS name order).
You can view the glyphs in unicode or codepoint order by selecting a different view in the mapping window.
Note that the order of the glyphs has no affect on font at the end of the day, but is useful to have some kind of ordering when creating the font.
* There is a complex way - it involves creating a glyph group with the glyphs in order. Outputting the glyph group as .gfs file. Delete the original glyphs, then reimport the glyphs from the .gfs. (If you have kerning you also need to export and reimport this also, as it will be lost when the glyphs are deleted). Make sure you save a backup copy if you try this.
