I just started using Type 2.2 light. It has worked great up unit I mapped the #13 glyph. For some reason, when I tested out the font in word (windows XP) every character works before the 13th one I have created. It looks to be mapped correctly (its black and not grey).
Does the "light" version only let you edit a certain number of characters before you need to upgrade??
….It must be how I am editing the characters, because I started over with a new font....the first one I created looks good in word, the second one I did isn’t showing up.....maybe I am not creating them in the standards of true type fonts?? I am not sure what I am doing wrong….. Thanks

The light version is fully functional in that respect - there are no limitations on the mapping.
If the mappings are still there (ie black, not grayed) when you reopen the font in Type light, then I would say that the mappings have been inserted correctly.
Are the characters Latin or are they in a different codepage? Make sure that the Latin 1252 codepae is active, and that your new font has unique family name from previous ones that may be installed.
Kate, if you want to send me the font(s) that you are having problems with ([email protected]) then I will diagnose the problem and post a reply. It's sometimes quite hard to tell what is going on without examining the actual font.
